A new undertaking to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the Esoteric legacy; it’s the first-ever turntable in our history, the Grandioso T1. Accommodating a patent-registered unique contact-free drive mechanism, the “Esoteric MagneDrive System”, that inductively synchronizes the rotations of a magnetic driver and platter, realizing a quiet and silky-smooth rotation at an extraordinarily accurate rotation speed.

The Grandioso T1 Consists of 3 Components:

1. The Main unit – inclusive of the platter

2. A separate power supply

3. The Motor Assembly

Collectively it Represents Roughly 150 lbs of Gear.

The high density combination aluminum/soft iron platter alone comes in at roughly 42 lbs.

It is a highly innovative product – a bona fide game changer across the history of the turntable category.

It is neither belt, rim, nor direct-drive technology.

There are 4 Primary Technical Benefits:

1. Vibration-free platter

2. Because the platter is completely isolated with no physical contact, there is no potential for being impacted by any motor vibration.

3. The Magne-Float system (friction-free bearings) results in no potential for being impacted by any bearing noise.

4. Absolute precise platter rotation

Synchronization between the magnetic driver and platter. The speed is determined by the gear ratio between these two components, so it is 1:1, 100% of the time, by a measure of physics.

No irregularities commonly associated with belt, rim, or cogging effects.

The micrometer knob on the front panel adjusts the distance between the magnetic motor and platter, resulting in changes of tone to the users’ taste.

Maintenance Free

No belts to change, and almost zero friction parts means far less wear and tear, resulting years of performance.

The Micrometer knob on the front panel provides fine-tuning capability of sonic characteristics, by adjusting the strength of magnetic force being applied from the magnetic driver to the platter.

Triple layer chassis made of Aluminum and wood, effectively controls vibration.

The mid-chassis is applied with beautiful high gloss piano lacquer.

The isolation feet have a special damping mechanism that eliminates external vibration.

Two speed control ( 33/45 RPM ), adjustable with 0.1% order.

The T1 is offered with the TA-9D dynamic balance tonearm from renowned Tokyo-based tonearm manufacturer Ikeda.
