The Fox & Hound comes with a 40 Gbps Generator and 40 Gbps Analyzer. These tools allow you to confirm correct bandwidth, HDCP, resolution, timing, HDR metadata and many more options that could cause system hiccups if not treated correctly.
With devices like 8k displays and sources becoming normal for all video distribution systems, tons of new video formats are coming with it. How are you going to test those new signals? That is why we set out to develop a simple, affordable solution to troubleshoot system issues for today's integrator. The 8K Fox & Hound: A/V Testing and Troubleshooting Kit is a product that can produce and analyze the newest and highest resolutions - 8k resolutions and refresh rates up to 120hz at 40 Gbps. It's also affordable enough for every integrator to have on any install/service call!
How it works
Place the generator in place of your source and set the analyzer in place of your sink. These units will then read the data being sent throughout the system. The Fox & Hound's generator can alter its signal type to produce any signal found from today's modern sources. This gives the integrator the ability to test new or existing HDMI infrastructure ( cabling, extenders, amplifiers ) against the types of signals it will receive in the real world. This will diminish calls to support and replacement of products! Troubleshooting is a breeze-never worry if a cable or extender is bad again! Not to mention, it's fast-have your a-have your answer to a potential problem in less than a minute.
