This monitor has a 1” aluminum inverted dome tweeter and a woofer with a Slatefiber cone, made in France by Focal. Alpha 80 Evo is characterized by excellent dynamics, an impressively neutral tonal balance and multiple features ( inserts for wall mounting, automatic disengage-able stand-by, etc. ).

The Alpha Evo monitors are made from a 5/8” thick MDF enclosure and incorporates internal braces to ensure the enclosure's high rigidity, even at the highest levels of sound pressure. 

8" Cone Woofer

The Alpha 80 Evo's 8" Slatefiber cone woofer is manufactured in France using recycled nonwoven carbon fibers and thermoplastic polymer to deliver sonically neutral sound with no distortion.

1" Tweeter

An aluminum inverted dome tweeter contributes to wide dispersion, enabling the same sound to be maintained throughout the entire room.

Consistent Sound Profile

Producing identical tonal balance at both low and high volume, the Alpha 80 Evo is a reliable reference monitor.

Three Inputs

Balanced XLR, 1/4" TRS, and unbalanced RCA input jacks on the rear panel allow the Alpha 80 Evo to properly interconnect with all types of output sources such as monitor controllers, audio interfaces, and mixers.

Class-D Amplifiers

In terms of amplification, this full analog monitor is equipped with two Class-D amplifiers whose high-current capacity allows full control of the signal dynamics.

Sturdy Cabinet
