The Atlantis Lab AT21 is a high-quality bookshelf speaker from the French brand Atlantis Lab, known for its high-sensitivity speakers designed for both professional and audiophile markets. It has a dynamic, precise sound with a frequency response of 35 Hz to 20 kHz, an impedance of 4 ohms, and a sensitivity of 96 dB.
After 20 years of research in the field of hi-fi loudspeakers, Atlantis Acoustique became Atlantis Lab.
Founded in 1998 by Eric Buy, Atlantis Lab is a French manufacturer of exceptional loudspeakers.
With a strong dedication to the art of sound reproduction and a passion for high-quality materials and craftsmanship, Atlantis Lab has built a reputation for producing some of the finest speakers on the French market.
In 2017, Atlantis Lab began collaborating with professional audio engineers, which led to significant improvements to their products.
Today, Atlantis Lab is known for its premium, high-sensitivity loudspeakers that deliver exceptional sound quality. And unparalleled attention to detail in their design and construction. These loudspeakers meet the needs of professional sound engineers and audiophiles, earning the brand a strong reputation in the industry.
The arrival of sound engineers from the professional sector, head mixers, head sound operator, teachers from Satis and AIS (Ateliers de l'Image et du Son, Marseille), from the LASERGAME and YOO MOOVE theme parks, from the partner manufacturer of professional loudspeakers Eighteen Sound and Hifi Home Cinema distributors has brought a new vision of development. The idea was to bring together three worlds, namely the sound system, the mixing studio and the Hifi. Three worlds with apparently different specifications.
By working without compromise on these three specifications, everyone benefited from the other two: the accuracy and definition of the studio, the performance, power and dynamics of the sound system and the fine tuning of the filters and details of the sound in the Hifi cabinets.
To summarize: professional speakers, the accuracy and attention to detail of the studio, the energy of the sound system and the development of the Hifi with the common goal of maximum emotion.
All Atlantis Lab speakers are characterized by their high sensitivity. This makes them easy to drive, for example, by a tube amplifier.
The AT 21 Pro uses a 21cm woofer from the professional segment ( Eighteen Sound ) with high efficiency and fast response. This is complemented by a 13cm woofer at the rear, which is tuned lower and, thanks to its precise positioning, reduces standing waves. High frequencies are reproduced via a compression driver/horn combination ( also from Eighteen Sound ) with a crossover frequency of 2000 Hz.
