The 8 x 8 HDMI 4K Matrix Switcher from AVPro Edge is a 4K matrix with eight HDMI inputs and eight HDMI outputs. The unit is designed to support HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, 4K, and up to 18 Gb/s of video bandwidth. It allows you to display Blu-ray, UHD Blu-ray, Satellite Receiver, Game Consoles, Apple TV, Roku Player and PC sources on connected displays. It also includes eight TOSLINK and eight 5-pin audio connectors.

This unit features an audio delay management feature, which allows you to control the audio delay up to 630 ms and improve the video presentation. The 4K up-scaling/down-scaling enables you to downscale 4K sources to 1080p, and the EDID management includes 29 on-board EDID's, which can be managed via a front-panel switch. Additionally, the unit includes an internal test pattern designed to alert you of issues before they disrupt your work or presentation.

The dual audio de-embedding allows you to extract 2-channel audio from the L/R port, and the digital optical TOSLINK output supports 7 channel LPCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, DTS, and DTS Master audio signals.
