Wattbox In-Wall Power Conditioner
Good things do come in small (& hidden) packages. This WattBox™ In-Wall Power Conditioner features a recessed in-wall design that cuts down on bulk, making it perfect for low-profile, flat-panel installations. It offers 1080 Joules of surge protection, as well as noise filtration that conditions the signal to remove EMI/RFI interference. Combine these with the product's smart safety features, and you get a power conditioner that's equipped to provide the best AV experience possible.
Important Note - This product is designed to fit most new construction work. For a retrofit solution, purchase our KIT-WB-IW-2-WHT.
Trying to hide a boxy power conditioner behind an ultra-thin TV can be quite a challenge. That’s why we created this in-wall version. It has all the surge protection and noise filtration you need, and its recessed outlets keep power cords tucked out of the way behind even the lowest-profile flat panel displays.
Child Safety Shutters
So we know kids shouldn’t be playing around behind the TV. But what if you are blindly reaching around back there to adjust a cable? Keep everyone out of harm’s way with built-in safety shutters and a childproof design. This feature also helps ensure that you meet every area’s electrical code.
All WattBox power conditioners feature noise filtration that cleans up this "dirty power" to deliver the purest A/V experience possible. By lowering the audio noise floor and reducing hum, you hear exactly what was intended. Video performance can see an improvement too - with reduced power-related artifacts on HD displays.
MOVs, or Metal Oxide Varistors, are surge protection components that dissipate excess energy in the form of heat. Under extreme conditions, lower quality MOVs can get so hot they catch on fire! WattBox power conditioners feature ceramic-encased MOVs to protect not only your system but your home as well.
As an added precaution, in the event of a catastrophic spike, a thermal fuse completely disconnects AC power from your system to stop the surge in its tracks before it can get to your connected equipment. All three "legs" of the power ( hot, neutral and ground ) will disconnect for unsurpassed equipment protection.
