The Focal Utopia are the result of thirty five years of innovation, development, and manufacturing of high-end speaker drivers and loud speakers. They are the world’s first audiophile headphones to feature totally open-back full-range speaker drivers with pure Beryllium “M”-shaped domes. The acoustic quality of this design allowed Focal to avoid the use of any crossovers or passive filtering processing to achieve a frequency response from 5Hz to 50kHz.

High-End Design

Particular attention has been paid to the design of the Utopia, in terms of use, comfort, and overall aesthetics. They feature elegant, high-quality materials like true lambskin leather. Comfort has been enhanced thanks to the mechanical design which has been optimized to the smallest detail: the constant bend of the headband, an even distribution of weight, the design of the yoke and the memory foam ear-pieces.
