An offshoot of Shunyata's Clear Image Scientific medical division, Venom V14 Digital is hands-down the finest-value digital power cable the renowned audio company has ever produced. Engineered to seamlessly interface with any server, transport, computer, router, up-sampler, projector, flat-screen TV, digital converter, or disk array, Venom eliminates parasitic noise generated by power supplies, wall warts, and power bricks. Its exclusive multi-stage NR noise-filtration circuit removes noise and interference on your power line – and the noise generated by your components – all without the need for a power conditioner. You'll experience tremendously improved resolution of both audio and video signals.
Equipped with pure, oxygen-free electrolytic copper, 14-gauge conductors with a 100% coverage shield for superb RFI/EMI immunity, and custom-molded connectors crimped and soldered for dynamic transient current delivery (DTCD), each Venom V14 is made by hand and built to Shunyata's exacting specifications. Trademarked CCI filters and Kinetic Phase Inversion Process (KPIP), which eliminates any requirement for burn-in time, are also onboard.
We cannot over-emphasize just how big a difference Venom V14 will make in your system(s). Which is why we encourage you to grab a few today and audition them in your own home to hear (and see) for yourself. Venom V14 is backed by our 100% Music Direct Satisfaction Guarantee.
99.99% Pure Copper
Shunyata Research uses only the highest purity of copper available for the production of its wire products. OFE Alloy 101 or C10100 is the highest grade of copper with a minimum 99.99% purity and a conductivity rating of 101% IACS. OFE stands for oxygen-free electrolytic and supersedes the term OFHC (oxygen-free high conductivity). C10100 is the only grade of copper that comes with a written certification of purity. Certified by ASTM F68 C10100.
CCI Filters Reduce Power-Line Noise
CCI filters have the unique ability to reduce component-generated power-line noise without inhibiting DTCD (dynamic transient current delivery). This unique filter element prevents power line noise from one component contaminating the other adjacent electronic components. Shunyata Research's CCI filter modules consist of proprietary multi-stage filters that reduce power supply-generated noise without the use of heavy transformers, coils or large capacitors.
KPIP Eliminates Need for Burn-In Time
KPIP (Kinetic Phase Inversion Process) was developed by Shunyata founder Caelin Gabriel after years of research into the underlying causes of various effects such as burn-in, wire directionality and the effects of cryogenic treatment. He discovered that there was an underlying core principle that burn-in and cryogenics only "partially" addressed. Once the governing principle was understood it became possible to create a processing technique and machine that could virtually eliminate the need for burn-in and cryogenic treatment.
