This 6′ integrated Venom NR power cord reduces RF and impulse noise across all frequencies, leading to improved detail and imaging, smoother highs, and more well-defined lows. All visual images in Home Theater systems using the Venom PS10 will also be dramatically improved. Viewers of fine film will notice better depth perception, sharper color contrast, and clearer images across the screen and from front to back.
Ultra High-Performance Outlets
Venom PS10 comes equipped with a custom-manufactured Carling Electromagnetic breaker. These are superior in performance to fuses or thermal breakers but are typically not found in products anywhere near the PS10’s price point. This electromagnetic breaker silently protects against over-current conditions that could harm electronics. This safety breaker resets by the touch of a button. For transient protection, Shunyata Research recommends its Defender Series products, which can be added to the wall outlet or the PS10 at an affordable price.

Dynamic Transient Current Delivery
DTCD™ Analysis is a technique that measures instantaneous current through low impedance electrical conductors and contacts. Shunyata Research uses it to optimize the design, specification and construction of parts and materials to ensure maximum current delivery performance. Each part, conductor, noise circuit and material allows for maximum throughput of instantaneous current. Listeners will experience earth-shaking low-frequency performance from even the highest-current amplifiers as well as dynamic contrasts unheard of outside of a live event. NR = Noise Reduction
Shunyata Research’s exclusive NR ( Noise Reduction ) technology is a multi-stage filter network that measurably reduces power-line and component-generated noise, producing better purity of tone and clarity. It delivers a stunning background of silence to recordings, allowing the listener to hear into recordings as never before. Every nuance of meaningful content is revealed, bringing to life music’s most consequential moments as if the performers are in the room with the listener.
KPIP™ ( Kinetic Phase Inversion Process ) was developed by Caelin Gabriel after years of research into the underlying causes of various effects such as burn-in, wire directionality and the effects of cryogen-tic treatment. He discovered that there was an underlying core principle that burn-in and cryogenics only “partially” addressed. Once the governing principle was understood it became possible to create a processing technique and machine that could virtually eliminate the need for burn-in and cryogenic treatment.
Shunyata Research uses only the highest purity of copper available for the production of its wire products. OFE Alloy 101 or C10100 is the highest grade of copper with a minimum 99.99% purity and a conductivity rating of 101% IACS. OFE stands for oxygen-free electrolytic and supersedes the term OFHC ( oxygen-free high conductivity ). C10100 is the only grade of copper that comes with a written certification of purity. Certified by ASTM F68 C10100.
Power distributors react very similarly to power amplifiers in their sensitivity to vibration. Using the Shunyata vibration analyzer, Caelin Gabriel developed the Shunyata Isolation Footer, which possesses excellent measured vibration dampening characteristics. Shunyata Research also produces several SSF (Stainless Steel Feet) that employ energy absorbing polymers. (Note: SSF feet are standard on some models and optionally available on others)
